\\ Abundance Without Action? // I was recently sp $\\ Abundance Without Action? // I was recently speaking to one of my teachers in Peru and offered this statement: "I'm having trouble deciding whether I should work harder or pray more." To which he responded, "More work or more money is not the point." Then came a few very simple and (at least for me) profound statements: 1. Fear is misery. 2. Love is abundance. 3. Everything is manifest from with you. 4. Trust the process. Now, four days later, during my meditation this morning I was grokked by the faintest possibility that I could actually receive more without working harder. But by changing my inner state the world might just show up and meet me in a different way. "Working less might make me happier," totally makes sense. But as a hard-working #entrepreneur who was partly raised on a farm in middle-of-nowhere Nebraska, working less and getting more doesn't even begin to compute. I've been taught by almost everyone around me that working hard is the path to abundance. So...we shall see. Here's to gratitude. \\ An Unpopular Opinion Regarding Oneness // One $\\ An Unpopular Opinion Regarding Oneness // One of the more common topics/outcomes in the #psychedelic space is around the profound experience of 'oneness' or 'universal love' potentiated by high doses or molecules like #dmt. After such an experience, many individuals spend a few months proselyting with statements like, "OMG, we're all one and it's all love. You really gotta try this. It will change your life." Yet many continue living lives of escapism, trauma responses, addiction, and bypassing (just to name a few). Fortunately, I had my "holy shit, we're all one" moment the first night I drank 3 full cups of ayahuasca in the jungle after 7 years of sobriety. It was life-changing in one way, but in almost every other way it didn't change much at all. Because of my own past, I wasn't able to behave in a way that demonstrated, "we're all one." It was a beautiful concept but not one based in this relative reality. I still had (and have) behaviors to change, trauma to work through, issues to deal with, debts to pay, and relationships to clean up. After you've got the answer, I sense that multiple full-release journeys become mood-making. They allow me to feel amazing (i.e. high) for a while but I always have to come back down. And once I've returned to Earth and ended my conversation with the aliens, I always come back to, "How is this going to change my life?" I've talked about integration before and I'll say it again, "If I'm not integrating my experiences, I'm just getting high." And that's ok too...it's just wise to have a little perspective. I'd be very interested in opposing views here...specifically from grounded guides using primarily using DMT. #psychedelics #highdose #dmt #mentalhealth #integration #singularity$
