Founder Masterminds

“No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it.”
– Albert Einstein

What Is A Mastermind Group?

A mastermind group offer a combination of brainstorming, networking, education, peer accountability and support in a peer-to-peer setting to sharpen both your business and personal skills. Far to often founders spend too much money, energy and time “re-inventing the wheel.” That usually happens because they didn’t even know the wheel existed to start with. This applies to not only the operational aspects of running your business but also the mental and emotional facets. Having a trusted and confidential group of peers to share both your wins and your struggles give founders a safe place to learn, practice, be accountable, and grow – as both a business owner and a human.

Who Needs A Mastermind?

Many founders don’t have an established support system. Usually that system might include a co-founder, your family, a trusted mentor, or a local entrepreneur community who you can go to with questions and receive the support you need when the going gets tough. Or you may already have those systems in place but really just need somewhere to share what’s happening without judgment. This is where a trusted group of peers who understand what you’re going through can be life changing. If you feel alone in your journey, would like to both share and receive ideas from other people who are standing in your shoes then a mastermind may be just the place for you.

Masterminds…in my own words.

Are you a good fit for a mastermind?

First, take a moment to examine the 5 people you spend the most time with. In many ways, you are the average of those 5 people. So…are you mentoring those people, are they your peers, or are they mentoring you? If the answer is group 1 or 2 then a mastermind may be a good fit for you. A few qualities of great mastermind candidates are:

  • You’re looking to ‘level-up’ your business IQ and your personal EQ.
  • You’re looking to challenge yourself and grow as an founder or CEO.
  • You need more clairty, focus and better decision making skills.
  • You want to harness the power of collective problem solving.
  • You want to generate more revenue with feweer mistakes and in a fraction of the time.
